Yesterday the world celebrated Mothers’ day. Mother – more precisely, the motherly love – is at the core of the human existence as one of the finest** beings that the Mother Nature has given birth to. But being the mother that she is, Nature has bestowed all our fellow beings with mothers and their love. When a nature-loving friend of mine asked me to post a few pictures of mothers from other worlds, I fortunately had these 👇 beautifully dutiful mothers to present –
A Yellow-Vented BulBul mother with her over-sized offspring
A Banana Squirrel mother teaching her son/daughter the first steps, or the first leaps rather, of arboreal life
and a free-ranging Red Jungle fowl mother taking her chick to explore the world of scratching
Nature’s motherly nature has been appreciated and celebrated through out the human history with some cultures worshipping Nature as mother to this day.

(** I say “one of the finest…” because we have no idea which other life form has narrowly missed this position or which other life form would in future be blessed by the Mother to succeed us.)
